Former Arsenal manager, Arsène Charles Ernest Wenger has now revealed that he was handed an offer to join Manchester United as their new boss but eventually declined.
When asked about the whole matter, Wenger confirmed the rumour by only saying, “Yes.”
In reply, when the interviewer attempted to know what was the time frame of that occurrence, the longest-serving manager in the Gunners’ history opined:
“I don’t tell you that, but I can tell you Man United offered me the job.”
