Kagadi District Leaders Decry Insecurity, Illegal Guns

Leaders of Kagadi district in Western Uganda have decried the continued insecurity in the area characterized by the use of illegal guns and killing of people.
The Buyaga East Member of Parliament, Musana Eric called on the ministry of Internal Affairs to swing into action and save the people and their property.
Musana said that two people have already been killed and others are being hospitalized as a result of the thuggery activities that involve guns and pangas as unknown people attack the helpless local population.
Musana attributed the use of illegal guns to kill people as a result of porous borders without a well maned security. Kagadi district in Bunyoro region boarders Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda .
Musana has also revealed the targeted people include the business community those dealing in mobile money, petrol stations, shops among others.
