NUP Refutes Rumour That Chameleon Was Dropped On Religious Grounds

National Unity Platform Spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi has refuted claims that the new party dropped Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleon from holding the party’s mayoral flag because he is catholic.
Mr. Ssenyonyi said the document that was widely shared on social media showing Mayanja’s evaluation was fake.
“The document is fake. Please treat it with contempt it deserves,” Ssenyonyi updated on his social media.
NUP went ahead and provided the right templates they claim to have used to evaluate their candidates.
“Political interests should not cause us to become such liars.” Ssenyonyi added.
Chameleon has declined to give his comment on this matter, but promised to ‘communicate when the time is right.’
